Tanigawadake Tenjindaira (Minakami, Gunma) - 1st February 2013

If you are a beginner, maybe not worth going for riding alone (the views do make up for it though). The on course riding is decent but short except for a long run to the bottom. For the advanced rider with av gear there are some truly amazing runs that lead back to the long course to the bottom, just have to be careful of the river at the bottom of the runs. For the more casual advanced rider there are also some beautiful valley and ridge line runs that also lead back to the course and don't require all the av gear (though never a bad idea). The snow is also amazing. It gets some of the most consistent dry powder of any skijo south of Tohoku. On top of all this this crowds tend to go to Kawaba and Norn, leaving Tenjin pretty quite even on the 3 day weekends.
