Dunga 1
Over here everything is burning, currently 40C plus across most of the country... It may not be raining but affecting the patterns that bring the lovely snow on the back of the Siberian winds. Anyway I digress...
Gunma Boarder 14
How much of a ride are you from Kawaba, Gunma Boarder? 30 minutes or so? I'm about 25 minutes from Kawaba if there is no ice and no traffic, It usually takes me 30 to 45 minutes to get to the parking lot from my house.
muikabochi 208
cool. Went for a walk out in the snow just now. Glad to see it coming down. Wayyy less than usual though in my neighbourhood.. Hope its just a late start to the madness.
ippy 66
if theres a choice between deep heavy snow and a longer season but less consistent pow, im going with the longer season. Its nice we got to start mid november and that there wasnt a mass shut down to mid late december. Last year i remember watching the hakucams and seeing nothing until the last few days of the year. God id have hated to have been living in nagano for that one even though january went bananas all over the place.
muikabochi 208
I'd prefer early and long, obviously. I don't like crappy snow conditions. Way too fussy, but can't help it so it seems.
Gunma Boarder 14
Does this recent storm change anything? It's dumping in Gunma Not the driest snow I've ever seen, but will definitely help with the snow pack.
