SKI 15
Seen any? It all seems rather bland the places I've been. How we all wish for the 80's again!
jared 0
it makes me smile when I see that its the snowboarders and not skiers that are wearing one pieces these days.
OUfreeski2 0
Saw one cool snow board dude with like a heap of long keitai straps hangin` off his belt.
D train 0
Not making this up- Riding in Niseko on the Gondi and asked a japanese guy what he was listening to on his oversized "Keir dillon" headphones- he then pulled out the unattached cord and smiled as he noted" Fashionu Desu" ... Ocean11 0
Haha, that should be 'fasshon bikutimu desu'. I saw a snowboarder at Nozawa who had repurposed his gorgeous 80s razzle one-piece skiwear for snowboarding. Quite alarming it was.
zwelgen 0
anything orange seems to be cool (eh Barok) and those chalk bag things. Now why youd want something hanging off your bum where youre going to fall on it just isnt my thing
Ocean11 0
Strictly speaking, weren't chalk bags last year's thing? Lots of squashed fags last year and lighter-shaped bruises on the bum cheeks... Plenty of orange about, it's true. The fashion radio playing at Alpen stores suggests that besides lots of orange, this season will see snowboarders looking smarter and not grunge at all.
Dims 0
At sugadaira last weekend (great snow by the way) I saw some of the rudest porno 80's multicoloured loud one-piece suits I have ever seen. Just glad I had the googles on. Like our friend Dane, I think the spot the 80's skiwear game is good for a lot of laughs. Soooo bad the're good!
IANM 0
Does anywhere actually sell the 80s looking crazy stuff - it's time for a revival!

brit-gob 9
I personally would like a return of the nice tight ladies ski pants of 10 years ago. Now they were nice, and it was good to carefully study the fashions of the era at that time.
Fattwins 0
Like a little baggy but not crap hanging off the side. The funny thing about fashion if you leave it on the top of your car..... then drive down the highway and it falls off..... Who does it belong too? Tokai Hokuriku is the home of free gogles and gloves if your brave enough to stop your car.
Ocean11 0
brit-gob, I saw a girl wearing that tight fig today, carving nice little turns, and she looked verrrrr good...

dimp gel (orange) 0
I'm unlucky enough not to have seen any wonders like that - ever. Bring back the 80s!
IM 0
This is not really on slopes, but what's with this Patagonia's puff ball jackets these days?, seems everybody's brothers and cousins are wearing one. Are those copies? Esp. mint greens.
