joshnii 2
I really like Tabasco. I get through quite a few of those little bottles of the red and green ones. However, I highly recommend that you don't rub your eyes when you have some of it on your fingers. IT HURTS!!!!!!
surfarthur 22
I have done that after cutting up fresh chillis. Not fun. Tabasco is great though isn't it?
Go Native 70
I wouldn't recommend scratching your nuts either. IT REALLY HURTS!!!!
@tokyo 14
Tabasco rocks!
Thundercat 60
The first time I had tabasco on pizza I was like, "WTF! Why is this the first time I tried this!"
Metabo Oyaji 71
The first time I had tabasco on pizza I was like, "WTF! Why is this the first time I tried this!" Same here. On pasta, too.
Tubby Beaver 209
It's over rated
1 4
It's over rated By who?
Tubby Beaver 209
By people who over rate how good it is
iiyamadude 6
well yeah those people would over-rate it. I love it, perhaps I even under-rate it.
Chriselle 158
For those like me who like the "hot" sauce, Tabasco is just OK. In fact, TB is accurate in it being over-rated. Marie Sharps hot sauce is much better for off the shelf. I make my own from the Habanero and Okinawa Shima-togarashi peppers I grow. It has quite a bit more heat but far more flavor and is more of spoon on sauce. Oh ya.... I wear surgical gloves and a respirator when making it.
Metabo Oyaji 71
Know what's also good? Wasabi on steak, with shoyu. Can't eat beef without it any more.
Slippery Jim 65
Wasabi-shoyu is great on chicken, also. For pork, try yuzu-kosho.
Tubby Beaver 209
wasabi-beef crisps are damn good as well.....remind me of Brannigans Roast Beef and mustard from back home
RobBright 35
Another vote for the Marie's. If La Pausa still do it, then their pepperoni pizza NEEDS that Marie's sauce. Nice taste than the Tabasco.
Karnidge 2
I like it and other things like that. Love the smell you get when put on hot cheesy topping. I neither over-rate it or under-rate it.
JellyBelly 1
I have tried a few others and seem to go back to Tabasco. In fact, I think I under-rate it as I often run out without a new one to crack open.
klingon 10
Wasabi on steak, with shoyu. I like Tabasco and Maries. I'm not sure if I would under or over-rate either, but do I win a prize?
pie-eater 207
Can someone fill me in on the 'rating' guidelines here please. I will then rate Tabasco. For now though, I like it.
Chriselle 158
Well, as a.... Watery, salty vinegar with a pinch of cayenne... with some savvy advertising and cool label.....product. Well, then it's first rate. I will concede that the Chipotle Tabasco is quite nice. But the regular stuff....SWILL.
nagpants 1
Don't use it then! Do you analyse all products that you buy based on what they are made of, or the number of ingredients included? Quite why people would get worked up about something like that.
big-will 7
Water and salty vinegar!! Well, I will certainly refuse to buy it now I know that. Anything with water in it, in fact. I can get that from the tap!!!!!!!!
Chriselle 158
Look folks....I post in jest. Serious I am not. But, in a friendly kind of way.... Saying tabasco is a good hot sauce for hot sauce lovers ..is akin to saying Bud Light is a quality beer amongst beer lovers.
big-will 7
Perhaps some people simply like Tabasco for what it is and for the particular taste it has. Is that too extreme of an assumption?
Chriselle 158
Ok...ok... Cheers fellas..
