I really like Tabasco.

I get through quite a few of those little bottles of the red and green ones.

However, I highly recommend that you don't rub your eyes when you have some of it on your fingers.

IT HURTS!!!!!!

For those like me who like the "hot" sauce, Tabasco is just OK. In fact, TB is accurate in it being over-rated. Marie Sharps hot sauce is much better for off the shelf. I make my own from the Habanero and Okinawa Shima-togarashi peppers I grow. It has quite a bit more heat but far more flavor and is more of spoon on sauce.

Oh ya.... I wear surgical gloves and a respirator when making it.

Well, as a.... Watery, salty vinegar with a pinch of cayenne... with some savvy advertising and cool label.....product. Well, then it's first rate.

I will concede that the Chipotle Tabasco is quite nice. But the regular stuff....SWILL.

Don't use it then!

Do you analyse all products that you buy based on what they are made of, or the number of ingredients included?

Quite why people would get worked up about something like that. :wakaranai:

Look folks....I post in jest. Serious I am not.

But, in a friendly kind of way.... Saying tabasco is a good hot sauce for hot sauce lovers ..is akin to saying Bud Light is a quality beer amongst beer lovers.
