dimp gel (orange) 0
How much do you feel ok to spend on a night at a resort (whether it be bunking, pension, hotel, ryokan)? Lets include 2 meals with that, as that's the way most places seem to work.
akibun 0
About ichi-man is my limit for nicer place.
Karnidge 2
Nothing over 3000 yen ??? 1 person voted - where do you stay then? In a barn?
jared 0
I'm a cheap baaasted, it was me. It usually means I stay home and go to the resort down the road - BUT, if you can get yourself to Hakkoda you can stay in Sakayu Onsen for 3000en a night, it has cooking facilities in your room so you can cook your own dinner. If my wife and I shared a room with 2 other people it would have been 2000 each pr night. on top of that joining the guides that operate out of there for a day in the BC (with full insurance) is only 2000 en a day including bus rides back from the other side of the mountain. there are bargins around if you look. and a free bus from aomori airport if you fly there. I was speaking to a guy from Tokyo that flys up there every weekend.

Markie 0
Geez, Ocean, hadn't thought of that. I mean, sure, it's a foreign country and I don't know the language but I'm a big boy now, so I think mommy will let me go without a chaperone this time.

dane 0
let's put it this way, if there was a bench under some kind of cover, and it was warmer than 5 degrees celcius you would find me sleeping there. i should learn to make an igloo.
grungy-gonads 54
You should. As the years go by, I find myself wanting more comfort on overnights. No under benches for me anymore.
