How to call your Mother/Mum

Recommended Posts

I call my mother Mum, I call my mother in law Mum also.

I call my father Dad. I call my father in law Pop.

My husband calls his parents Mum and Pop or Chief. But he calls my parents Ian and Lyn (thier names).

My kids call me Mum, Mama, Mummy or 'you sneaky Mom'.

10 minutes of sneaky mum! Why 10 minutes?!?

Yep Mum and Dad here too.

I presume SoSoy is Klingon? ;)

Dunno Scouser, one of the boys put it on my Facebook page over something last year, and since then they often call me 'you sneaky (or cheeky) Mom' in the same voice/accent of the kid in the video. It was one of those things that just evolved.

I recently finished up on Facebook, the whole thing just started to creep me out too much and I decided to try and live more in the real world.

I know of a few people who have recently done the same.

Me too.

I'm so glad I did, I highly recommend it.

As for the parents, I'm the same as pretty much all the others saying here.

I had this friend back home who used to call them Mummy and Daddy, even though he was 30.
