hellyer 216
Bears have been known to drink the local biru and end up doing naughty things. I just checked the loving bears pic again and well, the male...........................it must be really cold
rach 1
Going to book 5 nights in Hakuba in the next week or two. Very likely the last week of January, weekdays.
Thundercat 60
Started making the bookings now. So far we are doing 4 days in Hakuba (Jan 2 - 5) and 2 days in Myoko Kogen (Jan 18-19). There will be lots more but we probably won't arrange anything ahead of time. We'll just go when it snows!
beowulf 1
Rusutsu - 4th of January to 8th of January (Four days is not enough, but I think I will hit Rusutsu and Niseko in March again, but this is heavily dependent on the weather). Naeba - At some point in February. Zao - From the start of the season until the end of the season. Aomori - I am still yet to hit Aomori in winter, but late January is looking on the cards. See you in Rusutsu Beowulf Did I meet you two years ago at Rusutsu with your brother? it was really cold, but the snow was amazing and very deep. If so, it would be really cool to meet up with you. Also I cannot remember either of your names. Obviously if you are not the person I am thinking of, please disregard this post.

Metabo Oyaji 71
Booked in for Zao, late December. Will get to see my snow monster in its formative stages.
muikabochi 208
Nice, Metabo. Any reason you chose December and not peak monster time? It will be interesting to see how things are then. I'm still considering whether to go up there or not this season. I gave it a miss last season but feel the need again!
Metabo Oyaji 71
Nice, Metabo. Any reason you chose December and not peak monster time? Because that is when the kid's school holidays are.
muikabochi 208
An excellent reason!

Metabo Oyaji 71
Just far enough to be too far for a day trip.
muikabochi 208
Yes me too. I was actually contemplating doing that last time, but it was a silly idea. Up to 4 hours one way is not a day trip drive!

muikabochi 208
Spoilt? Very probably. But driving for 8 hours in a day and skiing does not sound like fun to me!
Tubby Beaver 209
haha.....yes it is!! ...says the guy who doesn't drive... I still have to sit cramped up in the back for 4 bloody hours!
