i aint done yet... I still got my hippy stuff... (and if a mysterious being through the bajoran wormhole let me choose one period of my life to live for all eternity, this would be it).

(man, i forgot how slamming this album was. I loved lifeforms, but for some reason in the mid naughties i listened to isdn and thought "thats crap!" and havent listened to it since. I was wrong :))

(haha! screw it, the full album version for a laugh - next post is going to be more mainstream).

and holy shit! its spiral tribe! I remember being slightly mashed at phoenix festival some year or other and meeting some of the dudes. They also banged out noom 13, (are am Eye- commander tom) which i really should link at some point. I might do a nu-nrg trip once the threads got a bit more back on track without my spamming :))

and jesus, you might as well call this section Megadog! :) It just needs a dj set from cj bolland and MC T-Bag ruining every song. Honestly though, megadog was one of those special events that really worked at unifying everyone in happy hippy peace. I miss that era. It was like the second summer of love in the UK and then alcopops started sponsoring teh events and it just all went shit.

(this album is one of the most perfect trance albums you will ever hear, and thsi is one of the slowest, but greatest build ups youll ever hear. It is the very definition of trance. Pity i always have to clarify it with a reminder that "i dont mean that other ghastly commercial stuff labelled as trance or psytrance..." Do yourself a favor, get some quality headphones and just let it wash over you).

I'm def a 90's kid......94 and the release of Whatever, by Oasis was like a bell going off in my head. Hadn't really been into music, I didn't mind it and all but I didn't really have anything that I really liked. After hearing that song I then backtracked through Oasis' previous releases and their album Definitely Maybe, got into the other music my big bro was listening to and got totally "mad fer it" :D

hahahahaha! just watched the i alone video. I love how the other three dudes dont have a clue what to do. I can only imagine the director "so er, you guys just kinda walk around and play your instruments and look a bit serious. As for you mr drummer, im afraid if we put a kit in there it might just seem like a 'rock video' so try and stay in view of the camera, and try and get into it if you can. Really, we're going to be focusing on the dude who inexplicably has his shirt off but it would be nice if we can capture something maybe spontaneous... but not so spontaneous that it draws attention away from him! so, good luck, and lets see if we can wrap this up nice and quickly!"

Lets play a few songs from that awkward period between the end of the trash scene (late 80s - i guess and justice for all is the death note to it) and the birth of nu metal (mid-late 90s when i was busy bouncing around in forests and warehouses to banging techno).

Yeah, it's an awesome song, but the video is.....different, haha. I have no idea why they didn't put the drums in the video....he just bounces around like a spaz, lol. "Live" was a good band though.
