pie-eater 207
Always a delight to get a new muika-report and this tops the lot. Can you print some of those out big size? Some of them screaming out to be BIG.
seemore 66
Awseome Muika Wow what a difference the sun makes. Great work again. Where were those lines that run down from the ridge I can't remember seeing that. Seemore

muikabochi 208
Oh yes me too. That one in particular. I was stood there for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to stand there in a good position, they weren't being that cooperative!
Metabo Oyaji 71
Looks like the scenery from Happoone is more dramatic than that from Goryu/47? But very different from places I usually go, too, with those big bare faces. Very dramatic.
muikabochi 208
There's more variation from Happo, I would say. At the top of Goryu/47, the mountain scenery is pretty much all 'behind' and basically like this From Happo, you have tons of views to the left which is this kind of thing (along with the above mountain behind Goryu/47 as well from a different angle): and to the right from the top: Both are beautiful of course, but for the views I would choose Happo. I feel I need to add...... You need that top Grat quad lift to be moving to get up close to the views on the right hand side (unless you gnarliy hike naked of course). It only opened mid-late January this season, that's why I mention it.

goldcoastskier 0
We are in hakuba from 12 march for a week. I can't wait!! What's the likelihood of more snow? Temps have been a bit mild for the last couple of weeks.
Tubby Beaver 209
yeah temps have def been milder, but that is the nature of the beast at this time of year. March can throw up some great powder days but they aren't to be relied on.....expect nice spring skiing/riding and then if you get some nice fluffy fresh stuff then its a Brucie Bonus
