The train stations on the local line after the tunnel are:

Tsuchitaru

Yuzawa Nakazato - basically base to the Nakazato skijo

Iwappara Skijo Ekimae - but about 1km from the skijo

Echigo Yuzawa

Funny how the Iwappara one is called "ski jo mae" when it's a fair trek down to the skijo.

The Joetsu Kokusai has a "ski jo mae" station too doesn't it? Though that one really is just in front.

agreed. I also think the beginner slope at Kandatsu Kogen is good as well, gradient is mellow enough to not scare the bejesus out of noobs but steep enough for the board to want to travel downhill.....its also pretty wide, just be careful for the river that is far skiers left!!

Hmmm not enough really 7-11, though like I said I do like zooming down from that top lift.

Kandatsu is a small, compact place that does actually offer some steep parts, but generally short runs.

On weekdays they close off their best course (well, I think it is) and it annoys me. :grandpa:
