Its safe your gear is safe the food is stunning the people are fantastic the sites are amazing and of oviosly the powder is to die for , just great times and lovely memories every time we visit the worst part about Japan just saving and waiting to get back every year !! .

I agree with the leaving your board/skis out bit. My sister left her board out the front of our old hotel about 11am, and we didn't pick it up til 8pm that evening after we had eaten dinner.

 

19. Beer in vending machines. No need to go to overpriced apres ski bars to enjoy a nice cold beer after a long day snowboarding.

20. Very little drunk hooliganism. I've yet to be woken up by some drunken yahoo at some ungodly hour of the night in Japan.
