1. No one nicks your stuff EVEN IF you have the CHEEK to go for lunch and leave your board on the racks outside without locking it up. (though still, just in case you should probably use a lock.) (:

I once stupidly kept my shinkansen ticket in my pocket as I rode the mountain.....of course I lost it and at the sickened thought of having to stump up for another to return to Tokyo, I asked the ticket staff if any had been handed in and BOOM....it had!! :D Only in Japan!!

I love that I live by the beach and have an onsen in my house....oops..that sounded pretentious. :D
