RobBright 35
Same here, that was some weird vibration as well this morning. Are they aftershocks though?
ippy 66
oooh, i forgot that happened. I remember feeling the wobbles, hearing the crack in my house as it always does in an earthquake, then kinda falling straight back asleep.
Tubby Beaver 209
slept through it without stirring.....mrs woke up though, says it felt quite big.....mag 5.3 in Saitama but only a Shindo 1 in Fuj
muikabochi 208
It was 100km under and centered in Saitama so doesn't sound like an aftershock. We woke up with it - it was just a very slight rumble here.
gareth_oau 2
I'm 28 floors up in Tokyo at the moment and it woke me up, slight skaking went on for at least 10 seconds Felt bigger than Wednesday evening's, but I was at ground level then, so my height is probably what made the difference
charlotte 0
Is it just me or are there seemingly endless tv programs and news about earthquakes at the moment.
big-will 7
There is a lot. Makes you wonder if they actually know or suspect something, if you know what I mean, or just jumping on the fear bandwagon and it gets the viewers.
Tubby Beaver 209
another trembler off of Tohoku this morning

Saitaman 1
Totally seems to be the topic that doesn't get quieter. I think there's some big fault under where I live too that they reckon is strained to go any time. Fun times!!
igloo 3
Anyone else catch NHK news just now? Some new report saying how they are upgrading all the tsunami and earthquake shindo level for..... Basically all of the east side of Japan from Tokyo to Kyushu. Pretty wild major changes to predictions. Can't find it now, if anyone can. Seems to be not much else on the news of late.
grungy-gonads 54
Yes I saw that. They upped the shindo factor for what seems like a whole great big band of the eastern side of Japan. So, when's it gonna happen then guys?
pie-eater 207
December 12th, perhaps? Scary shit, no doubt.
pie-eater 207
Keeps on coming 浜岡原発は21m…南海トラフ地震の津波想定 Hamaoka nuclear plant tsumami estimate at 21m!! However, if it happend I would imagine with all that water flooding the plant, it would certainly cool down those nuclear rod thingies. So, a bit of steam aside, perhaps not a big problem. pie-eater 207
So a 21m tsunami is predicted. Under what circumstances? Let me take a wild stab at this one.... a very big earthquake?
RobBright 35
An earthquake? Never heard of that. Where can I find an earthquake?
pie-eater 207
I don't think it's something you can 'find', Man_In_Japan. But I do know they happend under the ground. Perhaps 'Facebooks' or 'Twatter' could tell you more. They know everythings.
