RobBright 35
I wonder if the people complaining about M remember that this Daniel Craig version of James Bond is a reboot of the series, essentially setting out how Bond became, well, Bond.
grungy-gonads 54
I reckon they do. You're just being too serious. Having said that, doesn't explain why she is more a part of it with Brosnan. And certainly doesn't explain the same actor doing that in the time machine.
@tokyo 14
Hopefully this new one might set out how Bond became ineresting and got a sense of humour!
hellyer 216
animal crackers, snowjunky? Biscuits Is it an ethical dilemma for vegitarians?

cal 6
Do the people who make tv ads for drinks have a ready made catalogue of loud swallowing noises, or do they record new ones every time?
Slippery Jim 65
Hopefully this new one might set out how Bond became ineresting and got a sense of humour! Not until they replace Craig.
white-void 0
Considering Japanese like fishy stuff so much, why are the tins of tuna here so laughably small?

Actually don't agree with that. Holding out that he's going to show us that in Skyfall. There was more humour in CR than QofS. More still please, I don't dislike Craig at all. Slippery Jim 65
We'll have to agree to disagree there, gg. Craig is just too thuggish for Bond. Agree it's past time to replace Dench.
JellyBelly 1
Considering Japanese like fishy stuff so much, why are the tins of tuna here so laughably small? Tiny aren't they!
grungy-gonads 54
I actually quite like the 'thuggish' bit with Craig, though not sure that's a good word to describe it. Anyway will be fun to see how it turns out.
BagOfCrisps 24
On the subject of new bond, here's the new trailer. Codename "You Only Live Thrice"! "Be careful what you wish for Mr...." "Bond, James Bond" Playing with the cuffs after that jump on the train. Some promising little Bondian signs going on there.
Slippery Jim 65
gg, maybe I could use my time machine to bring the 1965 Sean Connery to the now to replace Craig!
grungy-gonads 54
Nah, made some of the classics but was dis-interested in You Only Live Twice and fat in Diamonds Are Forever. Over-rated.
pie-eater 207
And Sean in Never Say Never Again was just... can't think of the words he was so bad. I'm afraid Sean pissed on his Bond peak years a bit too much which put me off a bit too.
grungy-gonads 54
Anyway, who are you to talk.... You're American!
grungy-gonads 54
Sorry snowjunky this turned into a Bond thread. Perhaps we need some other points to ponder.
Slippery Jim 65
Yes, and thus not blinded by the myriad petty squabbles that pass for affection among you Brits. So I have an unbiased opinion!

snowbender 3
Perhaps we could also ponder George Lazenby
Slippery Jim 65
I've always thought he gets unfairly diss'd, probably as the first after the unmatchable Connery. He wasn't great, but not as horrible as many people say.
pie-eater 207
I agree with that. I think he did really well and actually OHMSS is one of my fave Bond movies.
Slippery Jim 65
Pies, it's got Diana Rigg and the first great skiing sequence. It couldn't possibly be bad!
