JA2340 16 Posted March 25, 2013 Share Posted March 25, 2013 For some, they SAY they hate the job, because it's the expected thing ... in reality many of them actually like what they do, and wouldn't change it. When teaching, I enjoyed it, except for some PITA bits (liek parent/teacher nights and report writing) but the majority of it was great! However, now, with a part time "gardener/handyman" type job at a primary school, I am loving it! Link to post Share on other sites

They believed night and day to be 2 separate periods and not connected. For day they used sundials that were split into 12 sections....a reflection on how they counted using the 3 joints on each finger (not the thumb) on 1 hand. Link to post Share on other sites
