Smiths I/O - can't do a gear review yet mate as they are in Hakuba and Im in Hokkaido. Will let the photos speak for themselves (as Im dead tired) but lets just say Smelly is THE wingman. Way to go mate Here's the motley crew leaving BLack Diamond - two of which would spend most of the morning hiking out of a place I declined to go as Smelly was scared. panhead_pete 27 Posted December 27, 2011 Author Share Posted December 27, 2011 After a few runs and losing my Scando mates who where busily grovelling out it was time for cake and hot chocolate, Smelly's and my fav food. Great sugar hit. Although he is a tad untidy and managed to spill the hot chocolate... After a warm up we went and explored the hill. Smelly really is soft and prefers Gondys but I managed to get him up this little double. Lots of fun turns today. Then it was obviously time for lunch, some pork cutlet and curry was all good. Smelly was into it and before I even noticed he was being fondled by a lovely young Japanese lass who was extremely friendly and lovely. Thanks Smelly Link to post Share on other sites

Kiroro was awesome but be VERY wary of riding off piste as it appears a lot of the terrain requires walking out of for some distance and the snow was waist deep in places. Then a sacrifice to the powder gods was made at Smelly's insistence - what is with these cheeses and jumping out of Gondys??? And boy were we rewarded! Smelly got rather drunk and played the tart and then this morning had a cracking headache this morning. No riding today, waiting for snow. Things started to get a little hazy after 2am...
