hellyer 216
AHA I think I just got it - 50% it has to be - you are either right or you are wrong - 50/50 Is that correct?
gareth_oau 2
Murphy's Law states that if I was to choose an answer randomly, then I would always get C/
BeerTengoku 35
AHA I think I just got it - 50% it has to be - you are either right or you are wrong - 50/50 Is that correct? Nope, it is a paradox. Random pick will be right 50% of the time, but if 50% is right, the chance of picking it at random is 25%... but if it's 25% then it's 50%, but if it's 50% then it's 25%
hellyer 216
Are you trying to confuse me? For you certainly have succeeded. I found it all became clear after reading this:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liar_paradox
Russell's paradox 0
Why 50% when there are 3 different answers? As they say, maths never was my strong point.
Tubby Beaver 209
because 2 of them are the same answer, both A and C are 25%
brit-gob 9
No, A and D. There are two other options.
Tubby Beaver 209
I meant D
brit-gob 9
Whether you meant c or d, there are still three different value answers.... 25 twice, 50 and 60.......
Tubby Beaver 209
Whether you meant c or d, there are still three different value answers.... 25 twice, 50 and 60....... I know
brit-gob 9
So what does your comment mean? Russels: "Why 50% when there are 3 different answers? As they say, maths never was my strong point. " Tubby "because 2 of them are the same answer, both A and C are 25%" ?
Tubby Beaver 209
so what would it be then? I figured that there were 4 options, and 2 of em are the same so thats a 50% chance......................I know there are 3 different values but there is no 33.333333333333333% option. Numbers confuse me
Metabo Oyaji 71
The correct answer is "zero." None of the answers you could pick from the choices given would be correct. No correct answer is given as an option, so your chance of picking it is zero. So there.
