I should finally be able to make it to one, lineup looks good so far. Anyone going/been to one before? Any tips on going, what to bring, expect, etc? Haven't been to anything like it except for one in Okinawa a few years back (which rocked, btw).

don't like Queens of the Stone Age.....too heavy US-style guitar for me. The Arctic Monkeys would be my pick at Fuji rock. Fuji Rock is a proper festival so even if the line up isn't as good, the whole atmosphere/experience would still make it it a fantastic weekend

Fuji Rock seems to be closer to Glastonbury, i.e., more about the festival than the actual lineup, so would be the one I'd go to.

 

I've only been to the reggae ones in Japan, but these festivals let you have a beer anywhere near the stage?
