D train 0
My mate Ross is in Nagano now having just spent the last few weeks in Niseko and would love any helpful advice/ directions in regards to where to stay / ride while down here. He is in Southern Nagano and looking to head to Hakuba or surrounds and would greatly appreciate tips on whats open still ( and good) and where to stay ( backpackers/lodges are good). Awesome dude and always good for a few turns and beers so any advice is greatly appreciated! Cheers, Derek

best skier in hakuba 5
My choice would be 47/Goryu.
Tubby Beaver 209
Shiga Kogen's still open right? Dunno if thats near to south Nagano, but its HIGH and will keep the snow pretty well. 47/Goryu is a good shout in Hakuba as well though
muikabochi 208
If you are snowboarding you might not want Shiga Kogen as many of the places remaining open are skiers only (Kumanoyu, Okushiga).
iiyamadude 6
Yes be careful if it's boarding you want. More open on weekends that weekdays up there.

best skier in hakuba 5
Not enough people to justify keeping open? Just keep as many lifts as needed to keep as much area open as possible, I presume.
