Zao ia busy at the moment.

But very unusual busy.

Many people who had destroyed house are coming to stay here as well as people going to earthquake areas to help out.

Ski resort I think will not open again, certainly not any time soon.

Thats great to hear that many lodges are taking in displaced people from the Tsunami area. I was wondering, is the government paying hotels/lodges for this or is it totally gratis out of the owners goodness?

Nature may have shown us some anger, but she is still beautiful.

Zao is still looking winter-like, if only the season had continued as normal. There are still monsters up there.

Good news.

I think there was a lot of pressure and politics going on with this - lots of Zao people wanted to get things open again but there was a balance to get with there being lots of people here from affected areas. And the skijo characteristically slow to make decisions etc.

Anyway good to hear and I'll definitely get up there.
