HelperElfMissy 42
ROFL! Rob. Ski, we spent it shopping for snowboard gear - totally Christmas! Having kids I bought Christmas Stockings and gifts ready wrapped from home and did the midnight drop at the end of the hotel beds. Dinner was Teppanyaki at our hotel - very exxy, but very amazing. fuldane, have fun. New, different stuff is great.
RobBright 35
That looks damn tasty. Where was that place and how much did it cost?
HelperElfMissy 42
Teppanyaki Asakusa @ ANA Intercontinental Hotel. Christmas Dinner. Exxy - can not remember how much - but being The Special Christmas Kobe Set it was sell a kid or sell a kidney territory! Next bit: And then: And then: And.... There was more. It was a gargantuan feast. It was very very good. And the presentation was very theatrical.

Thundercat 60
I usually go away at Christmas and New Years but I never go home to Canada. TBH, I don't find it very relaxing to be around my family during the holidays. I was planning on just staying around my house this year but just found out that our winter vacation has been extended by 10 days. It feels like I should do something with my month long vacation... rach 1
I'm going to be here, got a few parties around Christmas. Hope to be going up to Hakuba in early January.
Thundercat 60
Well, the problem is that my holidays start a little early this year on Dec. 11 and my wife doesn't start her holidays until the 28th. I sort of made a promise to her that if she let me take a month long holiday to Bali in summer I wouldn't abandon her in the winter... we'll probably end up going to Nagano/Niigata at some point during the holidays but we haven't made any firm plans yet. I'm sure I could sneak away for a few days here or there but I don't want to book anything until I know what the conditions will be like... it'll have to be game day decisions!
