Mintyjulep 0
Like Ticketek? Mr Minty and I would be really keen to see a concert while we're in Osaka, but can't find a website that tells us what's on. Can anyone help? We're there from the 1st jan to the 5th jan if that helps.
Tubby Beaver 209
dunno about Osaka, but for Tokyo, there is one called Tokyo Gig Guide. I'd hazard a guess that there will be similar for Osaka
Mintyjulep 0
oh cheers TB! That'll help cos it will give an idea of who's touring.
RobBright 35
try out the *spit* metropolis magazine *spit* website.
Davo 1
Kansai Scene magazine covers Osaka and they have an online version
Mintyjulep 0
Very very cool - I'm going to be able to glean a lot from those magazines! Thanks
thursday 1
why you want to see Rolf Harris in Osaka?

Thursday - I was hoping for Englebert Humberdink, but Rolf will have to do
Mintyjulep 0
Actually the reason why I'm asking is because a lot of good acts skip NZ but never skip Japan. For instance, the Flaming lips who last played NZ in 2005, will play Japan in November, but are skipping NZ
grungy-gonads 54
OK then let me spell it out to you a bit clearer. They are all utter tosh. A quick look on google searching for "concerts in osaka" seems to bring up a large selection of info to ponder. I'm sure it would do the same for you if you tried.

Did the same search term about 6 hours ago.
grungy-gonads 54
No, seems to find listings of concerts that are up and coming in Osaka. I know I'm clever, but I'm sure not more than the average genius.
RobBright 35
Please do not encourage Metropolis magazine to print more copies. Pile of stinking shit. Makes The Sun look almost readable. ALMOST!
NoFakie 45
Expect to pay at least 5500 yen per ticket. And get in very quick if they are popular. I saw Nirvana for four quid....
pie-eater 207
I'm pretty sure I remember paying 4 quid to see Za Smiths.
pie-eater 207
Now if I had gone to see them before "extra guitarist" Craig Gannon joined, it might have been cheaper.

Sorry random place to say this, but I am really over aftershocks right now. We only had like 30 over the whole region for the whole past week, but tonight there have already been about 4 that I've felt (just felt one a few secs ago) and it's only 7.51pm
Tubby Beaver 209
yeah aftershocks suck...hang in there. Last year was the last blag, me and 2 friends blagged into the Razorlight concert and then got backstage passes. It was a good night!
