WAI is pursuing an aggressive international growth plan and sees the long-term potential for a large restaurant presence in Japan. WAI, with regional offices in Hong Kong, currently has a presence in six markets in the Asia-Pacific region. With almost 30 years of experience in Japan, there were more than 70 Wendy’s® restaurants in the market when WAI announced the end of its previous franchisee agreement in December 2009. The company is now seeking to partner with a major national entity or a small number of regional entities with an existing food service or retail infrastructure. The Japanese Denny's don't have the desert menu like U.S but they have Japanese breakfast menu. Great value and professional dietitian advised. None of my friends eats at Wendy's.
