Liverpool's captain, Steven Gerrard, has been ruled out for the rest of the season. The England midfielder returned to training a week ago after having a groin operation in early March but he suffered a similar injury last Friday.

Former England and Manchester United defender Gary Neville will join the Sky Sports team from the start of the 2011-12 season.

Neville, 36, is well-placed to co-commentate and give his expert opinion on our live HD coverage of the UEFA Champions League, Barclays Premier League, Carling Cup and future international fixtures and he is looking forward to the fresh challenge.

Can't wait to hear his commentary on Liverpool games.

Does this mean he'll be sitting with Jamie Rednapp?

I imagine they will get on fine.

In fact, in this months issue of Four Four Two magazine, Rednapp chooses his dream team. Half of the players are United former or current players... a Neville is one of them.

Yeah I like Redknapp.....was a good player as well, but just didn't have the right motivation to recover from his injuries and get back playing......would you if your wife was Louise??!! evilgrin

He's a handsome chap as well, his mum must be a right hottie......cos his dad has definitely been hit by every branch of the ugly tree!! lol

Arsenal have more away games as well, though they have been good away this year. Feeling good that we will get the League. Still up for the treble but that's probably too much to ask for.
