barok 0
Anyone ever been - It is supposed to have the best board park in Japan. I checked out the reviews, but they were from people who were mostly riding the courses, not hiking, or riding the board park. I really want to check it out, as the video page on their screen has a few movies that put the board park in a pretty good light . . . anyone ? anyone ?
bong 0
I went last year but the park wasn't open then. Not amazing place what I saw, fairly big on one face of the mountain, connected to Gala at the top. Sorry can't help with park info.
Fattwins 0
never even heard of it.
grungy-gonads 54
One of the bigger and more famous resorts in the Yuzawa area.
Ocean11 0
Driving past Yanaba the other day, I noticed they had some nicely shaped white bumps laid out all over the hill. Anybody been there? http://www.yanaba.co.jp/frame.html
Fattwins 0
Bring details but I think Takasu still rules the parks in Japan.
Fattwins 0
I looked through my japanese resort book and couldnt find it. Anyone know where exactly.
grungy-gonads 54
It is just to the north of Yuzawa town and actually connected at the top to GALA Yuzawa. That should be easy to find.
AET 0
I haven't been to the board park there either, but the resort is ok. Nothing amazing. It's best to go up a bit further to Karuga, I reckon.
barok 0
I will bring the details when I get `em I have been to Yanaba, and had fun, but I like the 47 park way better than Yanaba - Yanaba has a bigger variety of features - curved rails, video worthy rails, waves, and gapped-out kickers, but Hakuba`s park is simply better maintained, and the jumps are bigger. I hate rutted out kickers with a passion, and there are simply too many of them at Yanaba.
Will Lee 0
Did you hear about the employee at Yanaba who supposedly shot at some visitors in the park with his BB gun earlier this season? That`s some crazy s**t!
IceEiji 0
What happened? BB gun?

oblivion 5
It is closed, I can't believe how quickly the snow has gone from that place this year. I was up there in Nagaoka at the weekend (non riding business to see too), we drove through Yuzawa to take a look.
