tripler 0
Warmest ever day in Feb maybe but not warmest ever Feb. JMA have already put up the average for this Feb as 2C, a lot colder than last year at 4.2C. Warmest ever Feb, at least since 1886, was 5.6C in 1990, 2nd coldest: 5.1C in 2007, 3rd coldest: 4.9C in 1979.

ausi ski bum 1
10C here in Furano today, the mountain was like skiing on Elephant Snot
HelperElfMissy 42
Thredbo in September gave a few elephant snot days - the skiers bailed out by about 11am - concerned about broken legs - but we boarders kept having a laff until it was pooling water. Sad to hear there is Elephant Snot in Japan in Feb
andylaurel 3
Not good news. I promised my buddies in Australia we'd still have heaps of snow until April, so they booked flights for the 8th of March. Hope there's some white stuff still left to slide around on! cableitoh 0
Today really feels like April (with rain) here in Niseko. So we decided to take a day off from snowboarding & headed down to Otaru.

muikabochi 208
If anyone is considering Yuzawa, I would suggest Kagura is the only choice. And even up there it will be heavy going. Down here it won't be a whole lot of fun. Not in my book anyway.
