provide 3
Hi, i'm thinking about a ski trip to Shiga Kogen in mid April this year. I know this is not the ideal time to be doing a ski trip and all the advice i am getting is not to do it but does anyone have experince with Shiga Kogen at this time of year? I hear reports that this is a particularly cold winter in Japan and this gives me hope that there will still be skiable snow around in April. Can someone please give me some advice... Thanks
muikabochi 208
Hi I went end of March last year and had lots of fun. You might want to check the daily reports on here from previous seasons to see how it is usually that time of year, but mid-April really is getting to be near the end of the season... Shiga Kogen Now
provide 3
wow, speedy response Any areas that would be better to try at that time of year Muikabochi?
SKI 15
There will be skiable snow but it will be very much spring snow. How much is open will depend on howthings go the next few months of course but I would guess limited. Suppose it depends on how much heavy spring conditions puts you off. Can be lots of fun and you won't need your big winter jacket.
