inned muppet 0
OK I have found out I have 5 days in February off. Mid week even. Looking for a place perhaps in Nagano/Niigata/Gunma that has a great park and hoping to hear some recommendations. I like having fun in the park basically, don't need much else. (I can read resort websites and stuff but hope to hear some first hand experiences from park lovers.) Let's go!.... thanks
muikabochi 208
Don't know first hand as I haven't been this year and there might have been changes, but in Yuzawa I think Kandatsu had one of the best park areas. (?)
cram400 0
Hakuba 47 has a very nice park.. Also Alts Bandai has a superb park (for all levels of park riders).. Alts is outside your criteria area of Nagano/Niigata/Gunma, though... It's in Fukushima..
HighlyTrainedNovaTeacher 2
Alts is worth the trip for the park. Good place.
Oyuki kigan 0
47 has a passable park, nothing to leave home for tho. I can't reccommend it.
Amos in Utsunomia 0
Not mad into park myself but Alts positions itself as one of the best in Japan for that.
Tubby Beaver 209
I would also recommend Alts bandai in Fukushima, it has the most extensive park that I've seen in Japan. Fukushima isn't so far from Tokyo, so you'd def be able to visit just as easy as Niigata/Nagano/Gunma
yoroshiku onegai shimasu 2
Not for the park but I would like to go there. Anyone round these parts live near Alts?
tactic 0
Yeah Alts has a pretty good park! went there last year for a few days.. I spent last season at Naeba/Asagai and the park at the Asagai area was pretty good, the Naeba area park was also decent.. But I've heard Asagai is skiiers only this year??? Is the park still there or is it just a single gentle slope? Not sure if they've moved all the features from Asagai to the Naeba/Kagura area.. but you can get here in 1.5 hrs from Tokyo
Tubby Beaver 209
I thought Asagai had closed down this year
dyna8800 3
Ishiuchi Maruyama...huge jumps. Alts Bandai also has a great park, and advertises itself as the boarders mountain....but also lots of flats.
mitchpee 10
Does anyone happen to have any pictures of jumps/rail features/etc? I am interested in this also.
tactic 0
Here is a video from last season, mainly filmed in Naeba/Asagai, but also videos from a trip up to Alts.

Chips & Beer 0
Went to Alts last year. Really enjoyed it good place. The park area is big, obviously a big draw there were a lot of people in there. Worth a visit I'd say.
