Answer would have to be "You Gotta be Kiddin' me! - I get to ride them before anyone else even touches them!" The "friend" who asked for that favour would be on the short list to depart the friendship (unless they had some form of leverage!) I have loaned my skis to only one person. They are a very good friend and looked after them as if they were their own (and probably better than I would have). Never would lend boots, because of the problem with fitting. My feet are weird shape, with lumps and bumps all over the shop. No-one is likely to be able to fit my boots with any degree of comfort - and comfort is paramount in a ski boot!
