Accommodation- Sapporo & Tokyo?

Hi guys,

there's 5 of us (2x couples + 1 single) going skiing in Niseko over x-mas and NY. Our itinerary for that is all sorted, but we're still trying to sort accommodation for Sapporo and Tokyo.

 

this is our first time in Japan, so something easy to find is essential. we're looking for cost effective hotels (or similar).

 

any ideas for Sapporo or Tokyo?

It's too late, but for other lurkers check the Aspen Hotel in Sapporo.

 

It's a 4 Minute walk from the main train station. Large rooms, good price. Has a very high rating on TripAdvisor.

or cross the road, Hotel Fino, a boutique style one. North of the station, very short walk and not as busy as station south.

I highly recommend Susukino Green Hotel 3.

 

10min walk into the odori park. 10,000 YEN per twin/double room, bargain!

 

We searched around for months on our last trip there, this was the best value for money for sure. Also good drinking spots across the road.

We are looking at staying at Richmond Hotel Sapporo Ekimae. It gets good reviews on Trip Advisor, good prices including breakfast, internet and is between JR Sappporo and Odori Park so seems like a great location.
