stepchild 0
does anyone know if it's essential to reserve a ticket for the ferry from aomori to hakodate, or can you just rock up on the day and get one? also, anyone know what time the first one in the morning is?

RayInJapan 0
If you are flexible with your departure time then you don't need a reservation because there are like 12 leaving every day. If you want to leave on a specific one however, then you should have a reservation. My experience on them has been that they are full most of the time...
