mikelowry 0
Hey Crew Can anyone give me the low down on Kiroro? 5th trip to Niseko this year and wanna branch out. Been to Rusutsu a few times and heard some good things about the backcountry at Kiroro. Also, any other day trip recommendations from Niseko would be most appreciated. Go Native 70
Mikepow did quite a few trips to Kiroro last season and would be best to give advice on the terrain. Only done 1 day there myself and it has some pretty good stuff but I don't know it well. You can get there from Otaru fairly easily. If based in Niseko then you would probably need a hire car. Mike Pow 52
To paraphrase Victor Kiam, "I liked Kiroro so much last winter that I'm buying a seasons pass for 09/10" Put up a few reports in the 'Snow to Near Village (Niseko)' thread last winter. http://www.snowjapanforums.com/ubbthread...html#Post289494 Did 15 days there. All of them great. One word, Go.

Tubby Beaver 209
hey Mike, are you in South America tearing up the Andes or just chilling in NY?
Mike Pow 52
Still in NY. Finish my job here on the 16th. Then S America could be on. Not the best conditions down there at the moment by all accounts. Might wait for a big system to roll through and leave at a moment's notice.
