muikabochi 208
OK so we are starting to get hotter temperatures and humidity is rising. Tomorrow the forecast is for close to 30 degrees even here in southern Niigata. All hot and humind reporting and moaning here!
fukdane 2
30 already hit in Fukushima
HelperElfMissy 42
Wow that's warm for just having finished the ski season! We apparently have a nasty cold front due to hit tomorrow - all rain and storms - and just when I am catching the train and walking to work
grungy-gonads 54
There's some big switch somewhere with 2 options: COLD and HOT. Obviously the switch has now been switched. There's not much in between unfortunately, especially in the spring months (autumn is better). And Hokkaido escapes from this as well. The main benefit from this of course is..... shorter skirts. grungy-gonads 54
(I don't wear skirts by the way)
RobBright 35
MB - depends on when you define the close of the ski season
best skier in hakuba 5
I think for most people the season finished 2 months ago. But it is pretty extreme. Only 5 days ago people were using heaters!
Tubby Beaver 209
apparently Rainy season has officially started in Okinawa!
snowbender 3
Oh dear. The humidity and general wet and sticky feeling makes that without doubt the worst time of the year. Though if I remember correctly last year wasn't that bad (relatively).
brit-gob 9
Still a while to go before here. Definitely getting hot though.
Zaoman 0
I head up high as much as possible when it's hot here. Can't be doing with the humidity. Cool here in Yamagata this weekend though.
gerard 6
Spent the day at the beach yesterday but it was a little cool and the water was pretty cold. Still watching for the real heat to arrive.

sanjo 2
Very cool the last 3 or 4 days, not like late May at all.
Jynxx 4
Getting unusually warm here in Munich on some days. Looks like it's going to be a warm summer. Heat and humidity is bearable when you are out of big cities. I reckon in big cities, it's worse because all the air-con is pumping out extra heat'n' humidity...
sanjo 2
Humidity staying fairly low here. Mid-20's so not too bad at the moment, definitely lower than usual.
Tubby Beaver 209
Not as hot n humid as usual me thinks, haven't had the air con since my mate left a few weeks ago

muikabochi 208
Still relatively cool round here considering we are in mid-June now. Yesterday was apparently hot in Niigata, but down here it's staying bearable I'm happy to report.
