muikabochi 208
I'm sure it's a bit later than usual but I came back home this afternoon to the rice fields filled with water and the frogs making their noise. And one heck of a noise it is too. It must be the first frenzy as they come out of hiding, can't imagine whats going on out there! Sounds nothing like this.

snowdude 44
Some of the farmers here have just started to flood their fields, certainly later this year compared to others. I think because the night temps have been to cold to plant the rice. Still getting down to low single digits here most nights. Another few days or so then the frogs will be singing loudly until the rice starts to grow and the water dries up more.
