ShinyDiscoBall 2
Not everyone will be affected by this but I have definitely noticed a decrease in goodwill, more kibishii (strict) way of doing business and general less friendliness at work. I know many many people and businesses are having to tighten belts out there and that's why things are generally uglier than usual, but with everything that is happening extra ugliness could be done without. Smelly recession.

BagOfCrisps 24
Nervous is probably a good word to describe it. There's a lot of nervous, stressed out people around and it of course affects everyone. All a bit grim at the moment.

HelperElfMissy 42
OK... well here's another strange effect... Papa came home complaining of feeling down about being in a 'holding pattern' today. While business is up he is holding off on expansion plans due to property prices plunging and therefore the potential to save big dollars by waiting a couple of months. It has left him feeling flat and depressed because he is not living on a knife edge, pushing the envelope - go go go ... Funny man.

HelperElfMissy 42
I know. I thought it was pretty bizarre. But I suppose the general low mood is rubbing off even where it need not. Funny how contagious mood can be.
