gareth_oau 2
I do a lot of martial arts, so flexibility and being able to roll when falling helps. ive also learned to fall on my forerams, rather than using my hands/wrists and so far - so good
Rag-Doll 0
I've learnt not to fall It tends to be the best way of avoiding snowboarding injuries.
fukdane 2
Haha, yes same here. I know my limitations and avoid going over them.

grungy-gonads 54
Just slightly beyond, not too much. Less each year in fact.
gareth_oau 2
I managed to pick up a sore shoulder and a sore coccyx, which was rather tender for the 12 hour flight home , but importantly my grin never got dented the whole time On a different note, I understand that the instructors at Thredbo used to teach you how to fall, but they dont anymore. I understand somebody fell after a lesson and decided to seek compensation, so theyve now ruined for everybody else
Jynxx 4
Glad to hear you had a good time...Don't you reckon a soak in the Onsen after helps the bruises? Really looking forward to go there hopefully next year. We are always after accomodation with a bath when we go snowboarding. My recommendation is when in Japan it is handy to have a WC in the room if there is an Onsen, and you can do without a shower. I didn't know that shite going down at Thredbo. Must have been in the days before signing weavers for everything ... Bugger
