grungy-gonads 54
Whoah saw that on the next last night. Only classified as a small one, but warning that a bigger one might be on the way. I presume there's no ski resorts on there? But isn't there an Asama 2000 or something quite nearby?
JA2340 16
On the news in Oz, too. Nice pics muika. Joshni - not at Aso-san, was it?
yoroshiku onegai shimasu 2
No, it was Sakura-somethingorother, not Aso. Don't think it was Blofelds lair either.
JA2340 16
OK, found this very brief report. Doesn't seem like they are taking it seriously. A few little shivery/shakey things in the past week - see here for details.

muikabochi 208
Spent the weekend in Karuizawa at the base of Asama. Looks like a fair bit of snow has gone in the last week or so, not surprising with the warm weather. Here's some pics, from Karuizawa from the east from Onioshidashi a bit more to the north
muikabochi 208
More pics of Asama and Karuizawa here: http://www.snowjapanforums.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/310326/Re_Karuizawa_Mt_Asama_11th_Apr.html
