hide 0
I am thinking of a list of place that I want to go to, but not been yet. This year I want to try them for first time. Do you have a list like that too?

scoobydoo 0
My list is too long to write - all the big places minue a handful basically. Top is Nozawa and some Nagano ones.
Ocean11 0
I'm crazy desperate to try out Shikoku's arse-kicking resorts this season for some reason.
scouser 4
I wouldn't mind going south a bit more than I usually go - even Gifu, and much further down to Hiroshima maybe even. Then again, in reality I'll probably be heading north.
Fattwins 0
hit the myoko bc a bit that would be nice. if you come down to gifu we will have to give you a tour.
scouser 4
Hope to do that, mate. Cheers.
gurningbob 0
Oh so many, but at the top of my list there's some famous places - Niseko, Furano (hopefully a week up there in Hokkaido), Nozawa and Myoko/Arai.
nekobi 0
cortina bc of good things i've heard but missed out on. niseko if i make it up to hokkaido this year.
mattlucas 0
Well I want to go to as many ski hills as possible. But I am really exited about making a Christmas Trip to Hokkaido. It will be for about 2 or 3 weeks depending on how much vacation time I want to use. Also the hills around Takayama are looking pretty good for general weekend trips when I don't want to make the trip to Nagano.
BagOfCrisps 24
Er, any resort in Japan. Just bring it on! (winter that is)
rach 1
I'm going to spend more time in Gifu I reckon this season. And if I get that car, then who knows where I might get to
slimeypete 0
Oh so many, but a trip to Hokkaido and a week in Nagano is on the cards.
rach 1
I'm going to try out some places in Niigata as well this year if I can.
enderzero 0
I hope to hit up Dynaland/Takasu with Fatty, OU and their crew whis year. Other than that I didn't make it to Shiga or Myoko last year. I also imagine I will explore the Yuzawa region a little bit.
barok 0
I wish I could go to Niseko or Nozawa for a few months, but I doubt I'll be back in Japan at all, at least for a while. So instead I have to settle for vacation trips to Summit County Colorado Resorts e.g. Vail Copper Breckenridge Beaver Creek and my favorite - Loveland Also plan on an extended trip to British Columbia I hope to hit up Big White/Whistler while I am there, and do a day of b/c sledding. Other than that I will try to get a good clean slopestyle run, a good clean halfpipe run, make the midwest USA rounds and trying to hit as many comps as I can.
ProbablyaCrazyPerson 2
Loveland sounds good. Zao is near the top of my list, as is Destination Iwate.
nori-chan 0
I am going to try Sugadaira this winter - my friend has friend living near there and I am look forward to going there,
rachael 0
Myoko is on my target list this year too and I wouldn't mind checking out Madarao either which is nearby.
its-a-clock 0
My Japanese friend is trying to convinve me to take the trip up to Gunma the week after next for Malnuma (Marunuma?). I'm not convinced, I'd rather there actually be some decent snow on the ground first.
Ocean11 0
Er, yep, I think I'd be waiting.
DrEvil 0
Yeah looks like fun, not http://www.skijapanguide.com/2002/daily-reports/webcam/central/marunuma.html
Thunderpants 0
After reading resort reviews on this site for 3 weeks straight (hmm gotta kill some time preseason) my big hope is hakkoda this year, but with limited recources and time.... probably just 1-2 day trips to Nagano, which is not too bad after all
Ocean11 0
Which reviews are those? I got the impression that Hakkoda is a somewhat dodgy bet, especially if you don't know it well. I wouldn't mind going there, but if it was one or the other, I'd choose Nagano as a safer bet.
