pon farr 0
This may be a daft question but can someone tell me what the difference is between a 'helmet' and a 'ski racing helmet', other than the latter looking cooler? If I'm not a racer, should I be getting the normal one. Forgive the question. Thanks
stemik 14
sleekness vs comfy Also the racing helmets will have some clips for face guards. I would advise on a normal one...though as you say some of the racing designs are pretty cool.
pon farr 0
Thanks. I have been looking at some and frankly lost. The Wing Race Graphics one (Uvex) looks good and seems to be good - but whether that means good for me i don't really know. Must research more. Any good model recommendations for someone like me - decent skier but nothing too dangerous.
stemik 14
i think the Giro range are good and quite comfy. Make sure you take your googles and try the helmet with them on to get a good fit
cal 6
Last season for the first time I got one. The Giro G9. It's one of the most popular I believe and I really liked it. Comfortable and light and would recommend it. About 17000 yen I think.
fukdane 2
That Giro one is good. Was my first.
keba 0
Unless you're not a ski racer, I'd argue that the racing helmets are uncool. Forget the look, get one that fits your head. Mine's a Giro too, haven't test it properly yet though.
thursday 1
yeah, to test it properly, you'll need a rock.
