timcraig 0
Hi everyone. I have sent skis by courier in Japan before, but can't remember if it was midweek or on the weekend. Someone told me that the service doesn't run on the weekend. Is this true? How long would Kansai to Nozawa take and how long Nozawa to Niseko? Thanks for the help
timcraig 0
Anyone?
woywoy 0
Service DOES run on the weekend ... nothing stops on the weekend in Japan. May take longer over new year, that's it

gogalago 0
Most convenience stores are also courier pick up points, so effectively 24hours a day then too...
Kumapix 0
i think if u send it after 6pm then it will get there 2 days after u send it, as opposed to next day. Sending stuff to hokkaido will prob take 2 days
JA2340 16
It does depend on the distance, as does everything else! I used Takkyubin last season Tokyo to Furano. We did a week sightseeing after arrival and our gear was delivered within a couple of days. We intend doing the same thing this season to NozawaOnsen. A week travelling about should be plenty of time for the delivery, we hope.
timcraig 0
we land in osaka 6:30PM on a friday planning to go to kyoto on sat and then ski sunday at nozawa do you think the bags will be there in 24hrs or will it be better just to lug them?
@tokyo 14
If you get them sent off in the evening you might be able to specify "next day" (a bit more expensive). I would think they would get from Osaka to Nozawa in a day. I have had things delivered to me from Hiroshima to Tokyo within a day.
