Mike Pow 52
Tuesday 02 December 2008 Grand Hirafu, Niseko Resort Area 0cm in the past 24 hrs at MQ. Quite possibly -10cm up on the hill. It got warm and then it started pissing down and hasn't really stopped all afternoon / evening. It's currently chucking it down. Miserable with a capital M. So here's two more from yesterday when it was dry, sunny and glorious. Mike Pow 52
Wednesday 03 December to Friday 05 December 2008 Grand Hirafu, Niseko Resort Area 0cm of snow at MQ. Plenty of rain though. Almost washed the snow away, but around 9pm Friday it started to snow. Saturday 06 December 2008 Grand Hirafu, Niseko Resort Area And it kept snowing all through the night. 13cm in the past 24hrs at MQ. Much more up top. Good turns today. Limited terrain though. Wind was howling for a time so only Ace #3 double was open. Then the wind died down and they opened up the King Hooded Triple. Much better. Roped off (most of) the mountain from the King Bell area down due to lack of snow. More like lack of clue. Tokyu. Japanese for 'couldn't run a bath' The run back to the base of the quad was boot top all the way, hardly any ice scratch. Great turns. Still snowing. Tommorrow will be great. SnowJapan Moderator SnowJapan.Com#4 5 Posted December 7, 2008 SnowJapan Moderator Share Posted December 7, 2008 OK I understand what was happening now. There's some things that we don't particularly enjoy dealing with on the Forums. Some of them are people: Repeatedly re-posting ads that were posted previously and were deleted; Posting meaningless 'spam posts' all over the Forums just to try and get their post count up in order to try and get PM privileges; Throwing insults at us on these Forums. ------ Amazing as it may seem, we do not actually owe you - someone who we do not know and who has not even contributed at all - any privileges on these Forums. If you start throwing insults at us, we are hardly likely to welcome you. (Would you?) ------ Sorry, back on topic folks...... Thanks.

Mike Pow 52
Sunday 07 December 2008 Grand Hirafu, Niseko Resort Area 34cm in the past 24hrs at MQ. Much more up top. This is why we live in the Niseko Resort Area. 48 hrs ago it was bucketing down with rain and the season's snowfall was being washed into the river. Today was epic. Deep, light and untracked for most of the day. No lift lines, just good times. Glen on the first run of the day Glen hitting the pillows He's in there somewhere "How was that Glen?" "Splendid" Not my best efforts, but will hopefully post some of Glen's pics later. The ones where I'm wearing the Powder Poncho Snowed most of the day. Light flurries now. Expecting the same tomorrow.
