Checking out the new forcasts section on this site I see that there is a fair amount of rain forcasted for this coming Thursday at the village level with a decent amount of snow up top but nothing really much in the middle, how does that work?

That is simply outstanding colour co-ordination, except the top of his board needs to be supah-bright flouro, and he needs a bright thick fuzzy orange flouro headband with big badger tail attached.

I was in Niseko from 12/4 - 12/8 and the first two days weren't too good, but the last two days were great. I snowed so much that I sunk about 10ft away from the trail and it took me about 30 minutes to get out and after that the day was just great.... but now that I'm and back in Kanagaw I need to know what the snow is like in Tenjindaira, which is in Northern Guma

Great turns all over the mountain. Deserted.

It got warm and sunny so the pow down low was spring like, but above the Ace Hill it was still excellent.

But WAY more on the hill.

Took my first turns of the season into Super Ridge and skied two runs that were some of the deepest and lightest snow I've ever skied. Untracked and nip deep. Solo mission so no pics sorry.

Beg, steal or borrow time off tomorrow and get on the hill.

BIG WEDNESDAY bestsnow

Get up there early as it will warm a little later in the day and will probably get a little heavy down low.

A heap of snow has fallen today, ~25cm and I'm heading out for some night skiing. Can't wait! banner

GREAT turns all over the mountain.

Hanazono in the sunshine was particularly delightful.

Wind picked up above Ace Hill and created some big drifts and slabs were forming.

Didn't have a chance to ski with Glen today, but he got this great shot of local ski school director Trevor Dobson in his happy place.
