Snowboard lessons and gear hire in Furano?

Hello.

 

I had a search for this information but couldn't seem to find much, so any help would be appreciated.

 

I'm heading to Furano in Feb for a week of snowboarding, but I've only done it once before for four days. I had lessons then and was doing reasonably well, but I'm just wondering if there are any snowboarding lessons in Furano? I can't seem to find much info and mostly it seems to be just ski school.

 

I also don't own all the gear and need to hire it. The only link I can find on this site is for Snowboards and skis, but not clothing. Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure all places that rent skis/snowboards will also rent gear. (Won't they?)

Although I can't say for sure as I've never been, BUT I'd be very surprised if the rental shops didn't rent our ski wear as well.

There are rental shops under the gondola terminal in the Kitanomine Zone and at the ropeway station in the Furano Zone, they do skis, snowboards, and clothing.

 

Other rental shops also operate. They also do snowboards and clothing.

 

There are 2 ski schools operating on the mountain. Both provide snowboard lessons.

I read that Rhythm & Beats will open a Furano branch this season. If it's equal to their Niseko shop it'll have top-class gear.

Yes Rythm and Beats will be setting up on the Kitanomine side of the resort this winter.
