I suspect its really slow because the data has to go through layers and layers of protection accumulated from the many many flaws then fixes that IE has had. Almost weekly updates to security patches. A real joke.

I still use Firefox. What I'm used to I suppose.

Can't figure out how Microsoft have left even someone like me to notice that IE is crappy.

I use Chrome with an ad blocker app. Brilliantly quick and clean.

I use opera for general surfing as it is easy to save loads of web page quick access icons then I used firefox for email and online transactions because it can be linked to Norton which I have linked up and I use chrome for certain sites that dont always display or function properly in either opera or firefox.

One ting I've found with Chrome: It doesn't work with my betting site which uses Silverlight. I have to use IE for that. So in that sense IE is costing me money.
