thursday 1
yes, fat in the meat makes it yummy. But these highland breeds have little fat because of the thick fur. Not saying they are not delish... but I prefer a fatty wagyu anyday.
Jynxx 4
Anyone had squirrel ? I'm thinking it's time when squirrels have been fattening up with all those acorn. Brain is like egg york, stomach full of acorn like vegetarian sausage, meat so sweet ... maybe I go hunting with my throwing stick. Haven't done that yet here in Bavaria. Go Native 70
It's not actually a pig at all, it's a little rodent like animal often kept as pets in the West. The Peruvians fatten em up and serve em up like this
Jynxx 4
I heard it is an honour to be served guinea pig in Peru. Special occasions

thursday 1
This is a suckling pig. Most menus mis-spell it as sucking pig. Which always brings a laugh. Basically, only the crunch ski is eaten, as there's little meat anyway.
