soubriquet 0 Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 Oh yes. Until last summer Yamagata had the highest temperature ever recorded in Japan, a record that stood for about 80 years. The killer weather is a wet south easterly, when we get a foehn. Life in the bonshi is miserable then. This summer, it has mostly been northerlies or westerlies.
