big-will 7
How NOT to make cheese on toast, by London Fire Brigade An urgent warning is issued after a fire was caused by a sideways toaster used to make a cheesy snack A fire has been started after a peckish south Londoner put a toaster on its side to make cheese on toast. Now, the London Fire Brigade have issued an urgent warning to prevent it from happening again. A picture of a toaster on its side with some cheese on toast in it under a giant red cross could not make the message any clearer. Firefighters arrived at the house in Croydon to find the toaster completely burnt out on its side having set fire to the worktop. Crew Manager Nick Morley, from the Norbury station, said: "I never thought I'd have to give this advice as it's painfully obvious, but if you want cheese on toast use a grill not a toaster. "Toasters are not designed to be put on their side and used to grill cheese on toast. "Not only does it generate heat onto the work surface as we saw at this incident but the dry left over crumbs from the bottom of the toaster can get onto the hot elements and ignite." But if you are imagining scantily clad 'bunnies' running around the famous Playboy Mansion think again. Instead Hugh celebrated the start of his 88th year by watching his favourite movie Casablanca - just like last year. His wife is 27 or something.
