RobBright 35
Eboue needs shooting or dumping from the Arsenal team - whichever comes first
bobby12 0
Yes he was a total moron for both those yellow cards. He is known as being easy to wind up though, I feel sorry for his wife! Another 1-0 to Man Utd, grim tidings. They have won 9 games by 1-0 this season. Tony Adams gets the boot. Poor bugger, he was unlucky not to get 3 points against us, that would have been a different story.
big-will 7
Quote: They have won 9 games by 1-0 this season. Beating stubborn teams like West Ham is what makes champions, no? I'd say all given they are the strongest-looking team in the Premiership this season.

BagOfCrisps 24
Arsenal are now 12 points behind Manchester United, and United have an extra game to play. Deary me. Very poor and I'm upset about it.
BagOfCrisps 24
Tell you what, I was thinking just that when I saw him last night. Zoolander was looking a spit image of Zola there on the bench.

big-will 7
"This time, the meeting ended with apologetic smiles and conciliatory handshakes all round, with Scolari accepting not only the decision but also the club’s remarkable offer to pay up the remaining 18 months of his contract. They thanked him and he thanked them." Not bad deal that.
ShinyDiscoBall 2
It's all a bit of a mess right now isn't it. Anyway, Gene can go back into making movies.

pie-eater 207
Somehow Scolari never seemed to fit did he. I wonder how smug Mr Jose will be this morning. (Again!)
bobby12 0
Fergie made a good point that they based the decision only on last months results. Up to then they were doing well. Put that way, it does seem incredibly short sighted. All teams, even the champions, have their 'blips' every season.
rach 1
Remember, Fergie is a very wise man. And, of course, the best football manager ever, anywhere.
BagOfCrisps 24
Quote: Fabio Capello conceded that England had been taught a footballing lesson in a 2-0 defeat by Spain last night that brought their eight-match unbeaten run to an abrupt end. Goals from David Villa and Fernando Llorente secured a deserved victory for the European champions in a match notable for David Beckham equalling Bobby Moore’s England record for an outfield player of 108 caps. But the long-term significance will be the reminder of how much Capello’s team need to improve if they are to emerge as genuine challengers at next year’s World Cup. What? How to be a decent team_
