Cornelius 0
Is there a difference there at all? Is one more beneficial as an exercise / uses more energy / better for muscles etc?

barok 0
The best excercise is anything in the pipe - especially if you hike it. Or the same goes with backcountry, but it's harder to keep up the regular routine with that.
cheeseman 1
And after the exercise you can sit around a fire with friends with a good spread of cheese to enjoy.
Fattwins 0
BC sliding or riding by far the best training. Here is the thing if your a boarder and you make a mistake and have to hike out, then that is by far the best training possible, I'm sure its a slog too. Skiing in general has a lot of easy sliding and less push across the flats but I think we tend to make more turns down the hill. So my opinion is its balanced, we get more tired from turning a lot and riders using more energy getting to where they want to ride or get out from.
