OkemoLoon 0
Looking for info on water jumps for summer fun. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Looking for: Locations? Prices? Do most people use there winter set ups? boots and skis? Opening dates?
Stuntcok 0
This is the one in Saitama. In a couple of months, after my knee heals, I will be going every week
Stuntcok 0
Oh, and you use a winter set up but old stuff. I use old boots and delamed park skis. Landing on water is surprising harsh on skis. I use old boots because being always so wet makes them stink and wears pretty hard on the liners. You wear a wetsuit, a helmet and a life jacket. In Japan, most people but ski pants or board shorts over the wetsuit.

Fattwins 0
There are quite a few around these days. Goryu has a more of a park type of jump set up. Sanosaka is more of a mogul type set-up (steeper jump) The pro mogul guys and girls train at sanosaka.

Stuntcok 0
Why would you go to the water jumps in Hakuba when the terrain parks in Tsugaike and 47 are still open?
muikabochi 208
Racking my brain here for a possible answer, but... because he might want to???
Stuntcok 0
I suppose I should have phrased the question a bit more clearly for the mentally challenged like Muikabochi. Why would one want to hit artificial jumps when the real ones are still open? I was curious as to whether he wanted to do potentially dangerous stunts like inverts or something and therefore asked the question.
